I am home and now have access to my photos and can finally upload and share some!! These photos finish off Day 1.. considering there are about 18 days worth of photos.. this could take a while :-)!!

Wow. Wow and WOW. I am absolutely in awe of this City and its history. The places we have seen have be literally sending shivers up my spine... and I was bought to tears when I walked into the Vatican this morning. You can't help but be absorbed by the history here.
We have eaten LOTS of Gelato, LOTS of pasta and Pizza. The food is simply amazing. I cannot get over the flavour of Tomatoes... even Paul is eating them!! (Yes - pick your jaws up off the ground)
The kids are loving the food and are slowly getting into the groove after a long haul flight where not much sleep was had by anyone. They were allowed Gelato for Breakkie on our first morning seeing as we were all awake by 5:30am!
Places we have been to so far include the Pantheon, Piazza Navone, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Popoli, The Collesuem, Spanish Steps, The Vatican and the Sistene Chapel. SO many photos to sift through - but thought I would share a few here that I have had a chance to edit.. and keep posting them as I get a chance. Our room is very small and has the computer is in the same room as the kids are sleeping.. so I must be very quiet and edit in the dark!!
